Tools of an Uneven Trade

A play on words using the tools used by the people whose trade, or assignment it was to build the cross, to create the hammer and to forge the nails that were used to crucify God’s perfect, innocent Lamb. Then, all that transpired and the cruelty of the cross was the accomplishment of God’s trade to redeem the world – and you and I were included in that trade. He somehow loved us enough to bear the judgment we deserve and to fully pay our ugly debt. How uneven a trade that was – and still is.
